3 great tips for improving your ad-sense earnings
58If you are a web-master and would like to monetize your websites, One of the easiest ways is to use Ad-sense. You may be one of the many web site owners on-line today scratching your head wondering how your going to earn money with your sites. You may be surprised to hear that there are many people on-line today enjoying a residual income of hundreds of dollars a day simply by having Ad-sense adverts on their websites. The thing that makes these people different from you is that they tend to think out of the box when it comes to making money on-line.
These people earning money on-line are a valuable source of information and although they don't like to share their secrets there are some who are willing to help those who want to "up their game" so to speak. The information that these individuals share is valuable and has continued to consistently make money because they are tried and tested.
Many people charge for information like this but if you continue to read I will share 5 of my very best tips to help you earn a residual income from ad-sense.
Tip number 1
When using Ad-sense try using only one format of Ad-sense advert. The format that has consistently performed well for me is the large rectangle "336X280" text only adverts. For some reason this format seems to have a high click through rate.
But why does this format work so well and not any of the others you can choose from?
As bad as this sounds simply put these adverts look like normal website links, people have become accustom to clicking these types of links. This may sound bad but the majority of the time people don't realise that they are clicking adverts, they are simply in a hurry to find information which is fine! your website is providing a service and to these people the service is directing them to the information they are looking for. These people should be your favourite visitors.
- I should point out that there are strict guide lines that you need to follow, and if you don't you run the risk of your Ad-sense account being terminated. You don't want to be disguising adverts at all, because the "336X280" format is a larger size people simply don't see the Google sign because they are in such a rush.
Tip number 2
Be artistic, create custom palette's for your adverts. Choose colours that blend well with the current look of your website site. If your site has a light blue background, try to using light blue as the color of your adverts border and background. The idea behind this is you want the adverts to look as much as part of your website rather than adverts. This will only result in more clicks on the adverts meaning more money in your back pocket.
- Another small tip is you don't have to stick to the colours shown when designing your advert, you can choose your own by typing in the colour hexadecimal number.
Tip number 3
You want your adverts to be one of the first things people see when they visit your website. Don't try and hide your adverts in a corner near the bottom of your page because it looks nice. Place them where people will see them the instant your page loads. This small change will certainly increase your click through rate. Remember people are in a hurry to find information, and the information on your page might not be what they are looking for, and the adverts will direct them to exactly where they to find the information they are after.
- People have become accustom to seeing adverts on website's do not fall in to the trap where you think your website will offer everything the visitor wants. because simply put it dose not.
Final thoughts
These 3 simple tips will certainly earn you money as they have been tried an tested. Always remember that the types of adverts displayed on your website are a direct result of the content on your website. So each page on your website should follow one topic, as this will generate adverts for that topic. You don't want adverts for UN related topics to aper on your website because lets face it your site was visited because people where after certain information and you want related adverts to appear on your website.
